About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Policy Strategist to lead our policy efforts in Australia and Asia. As a key member of our team, you will develop and implement strategies for creating policy change in key areas.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective policy strategies to drive change in key focus areas.
- Support project work in the Asia Pacific region, particularly in Indonesia.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments relevant to our initiatives, identifying emerging trends and opportunities.
- BUILD strong relationships with global partners, stakeholders, collaborators, and allies.
- Contribute to our global policy and advocacy efforts.
- Develop tailored communications for various contexts and recipients.
- Represent us at stakeholder meetings and events.
- Evaluate outcomes and impact of our policy work.
Your Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in policy development and implementation, with a strong track record of driving change.
- Able to build strong collaborative relationships and work independently as part of a dynamic team.
- Advanced analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information.
- Outstanding written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
