Job Title: Senior Transportation Strategist

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Transportation Strategist to lead our Integrated Transport & Mobility team in Perth. The successful candidate will drive the growth of the Perth office, deliver high-profile consultancy services in transportation planning in Western Australia and across the ANZ region, and provide expert guidance on large strategic consulting projects.

About the Role
  • Oversee project delivery and management for transportation studies and related technical activities in a fast-paced commercial environment.
  • Position and secure major projects, support senior management of the Integrated Transport & Mobility team, develop technical expertise, and expand the transportation planning portfolio.
  • Serve as technical and project lead for transportation planning and assessment projects; provide authoritative transport planning advice for large strategic initiatives.
  • Promote business development, identify new opportunities, and support winning new work; build and maintain strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor to key clients.
  • Foster the technical development of junior resources, facilitate knowledge sharing, and coach team members; encourage cross-geography collaboration to maximize global delivery value.
Key Responsibilities
  • Effective communication, commercial acumen, business development skills, and ability to prepare proposals and engage with clients.
  • Working knowledge of the local environment and the Western Australian Transport Sector.
  • Detailed understanding of transportation planning concepts and tasks.
  • Awareness of the interfaces between transportation planning, traffic engineering, transport modeling, and infrastructure design.
  • Project management experience of studies, assessments, and other technical activities in a commercial setting.
