This Senior Public Policy Advisor position will contribute significantly to RAC's efforts in promoting environmentally friendly transport solutions. The ideal candidate will research and analyze complex topics related to sustainable funding and emissions reduction, providing valuable insights to inform policy decisions.

  • Deliver high-quality reports, papers, and submissions that accurately reflect RAC's stance on key issues
  • Identify emerging trends and developments within the industry, staying ahead of the curve
  • Provide expert advice on public policy matters, influencing government decisions or responding effectively to changing circumstances
  • Engage with members and external organizations, addressing queries and concerns in a professional manner
  • Develop and manage projects as needed, ensuring timely completion and delivery of results
  • Research and propose new policy positions for RAC, focusing on sustainable transport initiatives
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government representatives and industry leaders
