Dairy/Freezer Team Leader Position

This is a full-time opportunity to lead a dynamic team in the dairy/freezer department.

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced leader who can manage a team, maintain high standards of customer service and product presentation, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

The ideal candidate will have strong people skills, a passion for delivering outstanding customer service, and experience leading a team in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the dairy/freezer department to achieve excellent results.
  • Maintain stock levels, merchandising, and a sharp eye for detail.
  • Partner with the team to meet store goals and provide a positive, collaborative work environment.
  • Engage with customers to deliver exceptional service and support team members' growth.
  • Ensure compliance with opening/closing procedures, cash handling, WHS and Food Safety standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills that inspire and engage your team.
  • Strong stock management experience, with skills in planning, merchandising, and attention to detail.
  • Energy, initiative, and a positive mindset, with a genuine love of working with food and people (both customers and team members).
  • Flexibility to work full-time on a rotating roster across trading hours, including some early and late shifts, plus alternate weekends.
  • In-depth knowledge of retail operations, including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, WHS and Food Safety compliance.
  • Physical fitness for lifting and standing throughout your shift.

  • Saturday $35.15
  • Sunday $42.18
  • Public Holidays $63.27
