Job Summary

Deputy is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Solutions Developer to join our team. As a Senior Cloud Security Solutions Developer, you will design and implement solutions with consideration to cloud security best practices, applying security principles to systems and applications using modern industry best practices.

Responsibilities

  1. Design and implement solutions with consideration to cloud security best practices.
  2. Align with our compliance and security controls to mitigate platform and organisational risks.
  3. Encourage innovation and foster an environment of continuous improvement.
  4. Engage in technical discussion of solutions and ideas through planning, documentation, design reviews, pair programming, code review and technology discussions.
  5. Mentor and guide more junior engineers in an impactful and meaningful way to their growth trajectory.

Requirements

  1. You are a problem solver and are able to tackle highly complex and ambiguous problems, balancing the right tradeoffs in a pragmatic way.
  2. Strong experience in information security fundamentals, you have been working in the industry for a number of years, and are looking to use your skills and experience to build a great Platform Security function.
  3. Experience with distributed web based applications services (we use PHP, Go & JS) and their security posture, risk, and vulnerability remediation.
  4. Experience with SAST & DAST, CI/CD pipelines, and associated security toolings around SDLC (GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, Snyk, etc).
  5. Deep knowledge on web application vulnerabilities, secure coding and fundamentals on cryptography (OWASP).
  6. Experience with building and testing Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity Plans in the cloud (AWS) across multiple regions.
  7. Experience with authentication & authorization platforms, CIAM, OAuth2, OpenID, and ensuring high customer security posture.
