FinXL is currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Engineer to join their team in Sydney CBD.

We are looking for an exceptional individual with experience in designing scalable, cloud-native, distributed software using modern development architectures.

The ideal candidate will have experience with RESTful APIs, JavaScript/TypeScript, NodeJS, ReactJS, HTML5, CSS frameworks, AWS technologies (EC2, S3, EKS, MSK), microservices, containerization, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git, Bitbucket, and version control systems.

A strong understanding of SQL or NoSQL databases, including performance tuning and design, as well as experience in writing Unit Tests and Test-Driven Development, is also required.

In addition, the successful candidate will be able to work effectively in an Agile and DevOps environment, demonstrating strong troubleshooting skills and creative problem-solving abilities.

With a strong sense of ownership and self-motivation, the ideal candidate will be able to manage their work independently while collaborating with a team of engineers.

This role offers a salary range of AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience, and includes sponsorship if required, 12+ months contract, 2-4 weeks notice preferred, and hybrid working with 3 days in the office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable, cloud-native, distributed software architectures
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code using various programming languages and frameworks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects and meet deadlines
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently
