Key Responsibilities of a Senior Construction Manager - Civil
About the Job- Direct and control site construction activities to ensure quality, cost, safety, and performance are achieved.
- Plan and stage construction works, including new projects.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, commercial, quality, material handling, and logistics teams to facilitate immediate construction activities on site.
- Ensure adequate resources (equipment and personnel) are available for safe project delivery.
- Monitor physical and financial progress of work.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering with relevant experience.
- Extensive experience in construction, especially in renewable energy or utilities projects.
- Construction Card and valid driver's license.
- Relevant construction tickets and safety certifications.
- Knowledge of OHS and Environmental legislation, Codes of Practice, and Standards applicable to construction.
The Senior Construction Manager - Civil oversees the direction and control of all construction activities on projects to ensure profit objectives are met.
