Senior Analyst, Model Governance

The role sits within a dynamic team of professionals focused on establishing robust credit risk model governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage ongoing monitoring of credit risk models to ensure best practice risk management.
  • Engage with stakeholders to stay up-to-date with recent developments across the industry.
  • Ensure core modelling data is managed and maintained to facilitate compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitate regular credit risk model monitoring forums and reviews of model monitoring outcomes.
  • Enhance existing model monitoring framework by adopting new technologies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure efficient data transition between environments.
  • Monitor risk issues and resolutions, recommending remedial action as needed.
  • Deliver data requests and supporting analysis for regulatory validation.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience in credit risk analytics or management, with detailed understanding of data management and business portfolios.
  • Understanding of analytics, models, and data to facilitate effective credit risk management.
  • Ability to identify new opportunities to enhance business processes through statistical models and tools.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Tertiary qualifications (Quantitative, Actuarial, Statistics, or other relevant degree) or equivalent business experience.
  • Technical orientations: programming languages, SQL, R, Excel with VBA, Word, PowerPoint, version control systems, and data visualisation tools.
