Strategic Credit Risk Specialist
About the RoleThis is a key position within our Retail Credit Risk team, focusing on strategic risk and business initiatives. The successful candidate will lead the design and implementation of credit risk data to support analytical and reporting needs.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement credit risk data systems to drive informed decision-making
- Ensure data governance compliance and accuracy
- Analyze trends and patterns to identify emerging risks and key insights
- Contribute to the development of the Risk Appetite Statement (RAS)
- Provide regular portfolio analysis and reporting
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in credit risk or portfolio analytics within banking or financial services
- Proficiency in SAS, SQL, Tableau, Power Bi, R, or Python
- Relevant university degree with above-average academic achievements in mathematics, commerce, or statistics
- Excellent analytical and report writing skills
- Developed problem-solving skills
