Credit Risk Manager

Fat Zebra is seeking a highly skilled and analytical professional to lead our underwriting policy and manage financial risk across our merchant portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain comprehensive credit risk models and customer risk scoring to evaluate exposure across merchants and partners.
- Monitor portfolio performance and proactively manage credit, reputational, geographic and other operational risks associated.
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Merchant Risk to accurately report on the merchant portfolio providing analysis for executive decision making.
- Cross-functionally work with sales, finance and onboarding team members to ensure new business is written with a growth mindset while balancing risk.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics or a related field (master's preferred).
- 5+ years' experience in credit risk analysis.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, credit modelling, and risk assessment tools.
- Strong working knowledge of Australian regulatory frameworks (ASIC, AUSTRAC, AML/CTF Act).
This role is critical in assessing and mitigating financial risk across our merchant portfolio, focusing on credit exposure, merchant and partner risk assessment. If you possess strong analytical skills and experience in credit risk management, we encourage you to apply.
