Marketing Communications Role

As a Marketing Communications Manager at our hotel, you will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing plans and activities to increase brand awareness and communicate promotions to relevant target markets.

  • Propose and implement tactical campaigns through various channels paid and/or owned, working with agencies as required.
  • Lead strategic public relations initiatives to enhance brand visibility within the local market.
  • Leverage existing community connections and networks to build meaningful partnerships and increase brand awareness.
  • Update marketing content on social media, websites, and third-party websites to ensure accuracy, effective positioning, and optimisation for conversion.
  • Develop and execute targeted campaigns that align with local interests and events, ensuring consistent and impactful brand representation across all channels.
  • Organise monthly social media calendars and maintain local channels with operational hotel support, monitoring and reporting on activities.
  • Manage advertising, production, promotion, publicity, e-commerce, and social media activities driving long and short-term revenue for the hotel and its outlets.
  • Forecast Sales and Marketing department expenses.

  • Previous marketing/communications experience in a similar environment.
  • Strong analytical skills to understand key business indicators and competitive trends.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills.
  • The drive and ability to work under pressure using creativity, tenacity, and initiative.
