Hobart, Tasmania, Australia Arete Executive Full time

About the Opportunity

This is a pivotal leadership role with full responsibility for driving the turnaround of the branch operations within a well-known national business. You will have full P&L accountability, lead a small operational team, and play a hands-on role in transforming performance, growing the business, and addressing skill gaps. With minimal competition in the market and significant demand, this role represents a strategic opportunity to position the company as a leader in their space and be at the helm of a real success story.

About You

You are an experienced operational leader with a proven track record of improving business performance. You bring hands-on experience in logistics, which will ideally include 3PL, cross-docking, and warehouse management. You excel at leading and engaging large blue-collar teams, fostering a performance-driven culture, and inspiring your people to reach new heights. With strong communication skills, you are comfortable liaising both upwards with senior leaders and externally with customers. You thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments and are aligned with the values of a down-to-earth, action-oriented, blue-collar business. A high-energy leader, you are ready to roll up your sleeves and lead by example.

What's on Offer

In addition to a strong salary package plus bonus, on offer is the autonomy to run the business and make the role your own, driving the turnaround of an underperforming branch with easily achievable improvements. Be part of a fast-growing, highly acquisitive ASX business, offering a unique opportunity to make a significant impact and be part of an exciting growth story.
