About the Role

Zenith Investment Partners, a leading investment research and consulting business, is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team in Queensland. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and client satisfaction for our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Growth and Client Satisfaction: Achieve personal and business budget outcomes, including new sales initiation and conversion, plus client retention, for Zenith, Chant West, FE fundinfo's range of managed accounts and consulting solutions, investment and super research, and relevant digital tools.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong working relationships with our existing clients and be proficient in generating leads and marketing to our prospect database.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Actively collaborate across the group, representing the client perspective on group initiatives, plus sourcing, qualifying, and supporting conversion of client leads for others.
  • Sales Planning and Execution: Develop and maintain a strong reputation in our target client segments, with relevant industry knowledge and strengthening long-term 'strategic relationships' within QLD.
  • Client Database Management: Actively maintain client database (CRM) to ensure rich and current client data is available for all sales and marketing activity.
  • Market Insight and Knowledge: Actively provide relevant market insight and knowledge to our product and service development programme.
  • Professional Representation: Maintain consistently high standards of professionalism and integrity in all dealings with clients, suppliers, and staff (directly supporting the Zenith brand and values).
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a business development manager role, with strong knowledge in investment management, managed account delivery, managed fund research, super, and/or investment consulting – preferably in the retail wealth adviser segment.
  • Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, self-driven, and able to work independently. A broad, current, and credible adviser relationship network (dealer principals/advisers) as well as platforms and paraplanning groups.
  • Education: Relevant qualifications and certifications in the financial services industry.
