Job Title

Job Description:

As a key member of the Offshore Patrol Vessel Program Office, you will be responsible for managing the configuration of the OPV, including the Configuration Management System that supports seaworthiness and logistics support.

The EL 1 Configuration Manager is accountable for providing and maintaining an accurate status of the approved configuration of all technical equipment for the OPV. This includes monitoring and control of engineering change activities, executing configuration management activities, and governing technical data management in the OPV Program Office.

You will have in-depth knowledge of configuration management and systems engineering, responsible for the development, implementation, surveillance, and review of policies and procedures. The individual must perform and achieve complex configuration and systems engineering work within an integrated workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the configuration of the OPV, including the Configuration Management System
  • Provide and maintain an accurate status of the approved configuration of all technical equipment for the OPV
  • Monitor and control engineering change activities, execute configuration management activities, and govern technical data management
  • Develop, implement, surveil, and review policies and procedures related to configuration management and systems engineering

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of configuration management and systems engineering, with experience in leading teams and managing complex projects. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
