About the Role:
  • As a Locomotive Driver Trainer, you will play a key role in supporting the next generation of rail industry professionals.
  • You will deliver practical and theoretical training aligned with nationally recognised qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate rail operations training in accordance with nationally recognised standards.
  • Deliver both practical and theoretical components of training.
  • Conduct competency assessments to ensure compliance with national training standards.
  • Support learners with advice and guidance throughout their training.
  • Maintain accurate training and assessment records.
Requirements:
  • Hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent qualification.
  • Have QLD safeworking knowledge and experience.
  • Have significant experience as a qualified Rail Operations Driver.
  • Be able to pass a Category 1 Rail Medical.
  • Hold a valid National Police Clearance.
  • Have strong knowledge of national rail safety standards and industry regulations.
  • Have excellent communication and presentation skills.
