We are seeking a recently retired and experienced Rail Operations Driver to join our team on an ad-hoc basis.

About the Role
  • You will play a key role in supporting the next generation of rail industry professionals by delivering high-quality training programs in various regions of Queensland.
  • Your expertise will ensure learners gain the skills and knowledge required to operate safely and efficiently in the rail industry.
Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate rail operations training in accordance with nationally recognised qualifications.
  • Deliver both practical and theoretical components of training.
  • Conduct competency assessments to ensure compliance with national training standards.
  • Support learners with advice and guidance throughout their training.
  • Provide feedback to the organisation on learner progress and training outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records of training and assessment.
About You
  • You must hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116/TAE40122) or equivalent qualification.
  • You must have TLI42622 - Certificate IV in Train Driving or an equivalent qualification.
  • You must have QLD safeworking knowledge and experience.
  • You must have significant experience as a qualified Rail Operations Driver.
  • You must be able to pass a Category 1 Rail Medical.
  • You must have a valid National Police Clearance with no court outcomes.
  • You must have strong knowledge of national rail safety standards and industry regulations.
  • You must have excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • You must have a commitment to safety and high-quality training delivery.
  • You must be flexible to work on a casual, ad-hoc basis.
