General Surgery Fellow

This is a senior-level role within our healthcare team. The General Surgery Fellow will work closely with consultant surgeons to provide high-quality care to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the provision of clinical services under the supervision of consultant surgeons
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, relatives, and healthcare colleagues
  • Contribute to ongoing educational activities and professional development
  • Comply with contemporary human resource management practices and policies

Requirements:

  • Fellowship in General Surgery with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons or equivalent qualification
  • MBBS or equivalent registrable with the Medical Board of Australia
  • Specialist Registration in General Surgery with the Medical Board of Australia
  • Vaccination against certain vaccine-preventable diseases as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
