Job Title: Community Support Specialist

 

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to assist our clients in living independently at home for as long as possible. As a Community Support Specialist, you will travel around Dubbo and its surroundings, requiring some availability during weekdays between 8am-5pm.

Key Responsibilities:
  • General household tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, ironing, cleaning the bathroom and kitchen, changing beds, and washing.
  • Transportation to appointments and shopping.
  • Meal preparation.
  • Social support or respite for family and carers.
  • Personal care including assistance with showering and dressing (if qualified/fully trained).
Requirements:
  • A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly.
  • Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people.
  • A reliable team player.
  • Understanding of workplace health and safety.
  • An Australian driver's license and access to a reliable insured motor vehicle (essential).
  • Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent (not essential as you can complete this through our traineeship program).
  • Willingness to apply for a Police Check.
