We are seeking a skilled Service Asset Manager to oversee the maintenance of our hardware and software assets registered within our Configuration Management Database.

This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills, able to control the receipt, identification, storage and withdrawal of all supported assets. The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics and warehouse environments, as well as updating and maintaining a CMDB.

About The Role
  • Control the receipt, identification, storage and withdrawal of all supported assets within the Database.
  • Review Install, Move, Add or Change Requests
  • Reconcile asset movements against IMACs
  • Implement Requests for Change assigned to Asset Management.
  • Administer procurement of new assets.
  • Manage imports of asset data
  • Verify accuracy of database against physical environment
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
  • Asset Control: Ensure accurate and timely receipt, identification, storage, and withdrawal of all supported assets.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain up-to-date records of asset movements and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Request Fulfillment: Implement requests for change and manage procurements of new assets.
  • Data Management: Verify accuracy of database against physical environment and initiate updates as necessary.
Requirements And Experience
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in logistics and/or warehouse environments.
  • Previous experience updating and maintaining a CMDB.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
