Melbourne, Victoria, Australia beBeeFosterAdministrator Full time $54,911
Job Description

The number of children in care has increased significantly, with estimates suggesting a potential doubling of this statistic within the next five years.

To address this challenge, our organization is establishing a new function to provide targeted support to both foster and kinship carers across Victoria.

We are seeking an experienced administrator to join our team as State-Wide Carer Administrator. In this role, you will work closely with the Senior Manager to develop and implement strategies to recruit and retain more foster carers, while providing critical support to our existing carer base.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing accurate and timely information to prospective foster carers, ensuring they have a clear understanding of the requirements and expectations associated with becoming a foster carer.
  • Managing a booking system to schedule meetings and training activities for prospective and current carers.
  • Collaborating with our regional teams to undertake initial conversations with prospective carers, process compliance checks, and facilitate the onboarding process for new carers.
  • Developing and implementing process improvements to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of our state-wide operations.
  • Supporting community engagement activities and events to promote our services and raise awareness about the importance of fostering.
  • Analyzing data and generating reports to inform decision-making and drive business outcomes.

Our organization values Courage, Integrity, Respect, and Accountability, and we expect all employees to demonstrate these values in their daily work. By working together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable children and young people.
