The Senior Business Financial Crime Risk Manager will play a significant role in WPB's success with regards to deterring, detecting, and protecting against financial crime risk. This includes Sanctions, Anti-Bribery & Corruption (AB&C), Client Selection & Exit Management (CSEM) processes, and leading the annual Enterprise Wide Risk Assessment (EWRA). The role will report to the Head of Financial Crime Risk for WPB and be responsible for several key financial crime activities.
Main responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with stakeholders across local WPB, 2nd line Risk & Compliance, offshore Global Service Centres (GSCs), and Regional and Global functions.
- Implementing 1LoD Sanctions and AB&C related processes and controls to ensure compliance with Global Policy and Line of Business Procedures.
- Oversight of financial crime controls and escalation of complex matters and cases, providing subject matter expert input to relevant stakeholders.
- Leading the annual EWRA exercise for WPB to assess inherent AML, Sanctions, and AB&C risks and effectiveness of key controls.
- Maintaining direct oversight over CSEM execution by the Operations team and reviewing update of related processes and procedures.
- Leading a team and providing direct support, coaching, and mentorship to ensure continued growth.
