About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team at Givaudan. As a key member of our Supply Chain team, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with our customers and ensuring their requirements are met in the most efficient and cost-effective way.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to assigned customers and affiliates, ensuring their needs are met and issues are escalated promptly.
  • Act as the voice of the customer within Givaudan, working closely with the Supply Chain team to deliver superior customer experience.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales order process for assigned customers and affiliates, including order changes, issues, and customer complaints.
  • Collaborate with the Supply Chain team to resolve customer requests and issues, and provide proactive solutions to improve customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and process debit and credit notes, quality notifications, and customer returns.
  • Manage customer expectations and build strong relationships through proactive communication and issue resolution.
  • Collect and enter customer forecast into the IBP tool, and collaborate with regional planning on demand planning and stock positions.
  • Participate in demand planning meetings and provide input on customer-specific information, contracts, labeling, packaging, and stock requirements.
  • Provide coverage and support for other team members as needed, and identify the right communication method based on the sense of urgency and issue.
  • Know how to diffuse difficult situations and get resolution with customers, and follow the new customer/product processes to improve the new customer experience.
  • Participate in customer visits and presentations when required, and work under the standards of quality, safety, and industrial hygiene and good practices.
  • Manage inventory and aged stock, and coordinate warehouse and transport processes.

Requirements

  • Interpersonal and communication skills, with proven success in customer relationship management.
  • Basic knowledge of SAP or other order management systems, WMS, etc.
  • Basic inventory management knowledge, and Microsoft Office expertise.
  • Understanding of Incoterms and shipping terminology, and language skills in English and other languages as required.
  • Action-oriented, with strong time management and peer relationship skills.
  • Conflict management, informing, problem-solving, and business acumen skills.
