Based at our Sydney Markets Head Office, you will support the Smart Berries Australia team and develop knowledge through projects, supply chain relationships, market research and managing administration tasks. As a part of this role, you will be responsible for:
- Liaising effectively with external stakeholders to ensure efforts are aligned to meet the organisation's requirements.
- Managing All Pre-Harvest and Post-Harvest Domestic Seasonal Forecasts on a weekly basis.
- Engaging the FPG logistics and quality teams to ensure inbound product is received and reviewed upon arrival.
- Understanding on farm quality to contribute to commercial decision making.
- Assisting commercial team to review and maintain an update understanding of their stock on order, stock in transit, stock on hand and stock available for supply.
- Operating within the requirements outlined in the Horticultural Code of Conduct.
- Assisting the commercial team to maintain control of inventory by generating and preparing reports
- Maintaining frequent communication between internal commercial, farming, logistics and administration teams and external customers and suppliers.
- Providing assistance with managing the grower/producer/supply base to support sales, volume and profit targets.
- Assisting the commercial team with managing day to day operational and administrative tasks.

The successful candidate will have:

- A can-do attitude and excellent attention to detail
- Computer savvy, with great Microsoft skills (intermediate Excel skills are highly desirable)
- Ability to work under pressure and quickly adapt to meet goals and deadlines
