Expert Social Work Practitioner

We are seeking an Expert Social Work Practitioner to join our team in the Port Augusta office. As a key member of our department, you will play a vital role in enhancing social work capacity and principles of practice by providing advice, mentoring, and researching new techniques and methodologies.
The ideal candidate will have a degree-level qualification in Social Work or a related field and be eligible for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers. They will also possess strong analytical skills, enabling them to develop and maintain effective plans and ensure appropriate case management.
About the Role:
- Enhance social work capacity and principles of practice through advice, mentoring, and research
- Undertake regular reviews of cases to ensure effective plans are in place
- Provide specialist opinions and recommendations to support Youth Court processes
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement and policy development initiatives
