We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Culinary Team Member to join our dynamic kitchen team.
Job Description:
- Provide an elevated dining experience for guests by preparing and presenting exceptional dishes.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative menus and maintain high-quality food standards.
- Develop and implement effective kitchen processes to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols.
- Lead by example, demonstrating a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to achieve business objectives.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance culinary skills and knowledge.
- Work across a 7-day roster, including shift work, as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven technical skills and knowledge of cooking techniques, with a focus on presentation and plating.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative approach, with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- The ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong leadership capability, with experience in training and mentoring junior members of the kitchen brigade.
