Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Personal Care Worker to provide exceptional care and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver personal care and assist with daily activities in accordance with the Client Care Plan.
  • Collaborate closely with Registered Nurses to deliver client-specific care, including personal hygiene, nutrition, mobility, and more.
  • Identify client care needs and work collaboratively with the care team to ensure high-quality, holistic care.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and team members.
  • Support clients with light housekeeping duties to promote independence, including laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation.
  • Maintain accurate daily client notes and promptly report any concerns to the RN / Care Manager.
  • Support clients with mobility aids, range-of-motion exercises, and non-sterile dressings, under the supervision of an RN.
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Cert III in Aged Care / Disability (or equivalent) for Personal Care Worker.
  • Current Senior First Aid (HLTAID011), CPR (HLTAID009) and Manual Handling (HLTWHS005) certifications.
  • A roadworthy and insured vehicle with a current driver's licence.
  • NDIS Screening (or willingness to get).
  • Strong expertise in mental health care.
  • Willingness to travel and flexibility with shifts.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with empathy for elderly clients.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and standards for home care.
  • Commitment to safety, infection control, and emergency procedures.
