Personal Care Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a Personal Care Specialist to join our team, working across various residential facilities in the Northern Suburbs. This is a part-time position with 60 hours per fortnight, including shifts from 7:00am to 1:00pm, Monday to Friday.
As a Personal Care Specialist, you will provide support to residents with their activities of daily living, including personal care, domestic tasks, and social support. You will work collaboratively with our team to promote a harmonious working environment and advocate for the rights of older people.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to develop meaningful relationships with residents, and have a Certificate III/IV in Individual Support – Aging. Previous experience administering medications is desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Support residents with activities of daily living, such as eating, drinking, and grooming
- Administer medication as required
- Collaborate with team members to ensure resident care needs are met
