As a Training Coordinator, you will play a key role in developing and implementing learning and development activities that support the business in achieving its goals. You will work closely with stakeholders to identify training needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.

The ideal candidate will have a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment and relevant experience in an aviation trade environment. They will also have strong self-management skills, the ability to work under their own initiative, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating learning and development activities
  • Developing training plans
  • Delivering training, including planning and scheduling and workplace inductions
  • Planning and conducting assessments, including verification of competencies (VoC)
  • Preparing and developing training materials
  • Contributing to the Training Needs Analysis process
  • Document management to support the training management system
  • Generating reports to assist with the analysis of learning and development activities and providing training status updates
  • Providing information and advice on training and assessment services

**Key Criteria:**

  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
  • Relevant experience in an aviation trade environment
  • Strong self-management skills and demonstrated ability to work under their own initiative
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to create outcomes from discussions across a wide spectrum of skill, background and viewpoints
  • Well-developed ability to embrace change, learn new technologies and work under pressure
  • Ability to motivate individuals and teams in the area of learning and development, to support the achievement of business requirements
  • Continuous improvement mind-set with a solution focused approach
  • Ability to present a case (verbally and/or written) in a persuasive and convincing manner to a variety of audiences (technical, business, management, suppliers)
