Food and Beverage Attendant Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Food and Beverage Attendant to join our team at Ivy & Jack, a 120-seat venue located in the heart of Perth CBD.

As a Food and Beverage Attendant, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a memorable experience for every customer. Your role will involve greeting and escorting customers to their tables, preparing beverages to a high standard, serving food in a professional and timely manner, and highlighting promotions and daily specials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver the Holiday Inn service promise of 'Making Guests Smile' by enabling real human connections, putting guests at ease, and creating moments of delight.
  • Greet and escort customers to their tables.
  • Prepare beverages (coffee, alcoholic and non-alcoholic) to a high standard.
  • Serve food in a professional and timely manner.
  • Highlight promotions and daily specials to customers.
  • Provide meal and/or beverage pairing recommendations upon request.
  • Maintain the physical appearance and cleanliness of the restaurant.
  • Work with and support colleagues to offer a smooth service to our customers.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar Food and Beverage or bar service role.
  • Barista experience is favourable.
  • Be someone who is highly motivated and genuinely loves to interact with a variety of different people.
  • Hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol.
  • Be able to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including days, nights, weekends, and Public Holidays.
