Clinical Unit Leader

We seek a dynamic and experienced Registered Midwife or Registered Nurse/Midwife to lead the Inpatient Antenatal & Women's Health Ward as a full-time, permanent Clinical Unit Manager.
This leadership role provides overall responsibility for the organisation and management of the clinical unit. The successful candidate will facilitate high-quality patient-centred care by effectively managing clinical, operational, and human resources within a quality and risk management framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage clinical, financial, and human resources within the clinical unit.
- Facilitate high-quality patient-centred care.
- Lead and manage clinical teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you should possess:
- Current registration with the relevant nursing board.
- Tertiary qualification in a specialty, health administration, or management (or working towards).
- Clinical leadership, budget management, and finance experience demonstrating effective management of a clinical cost centre.
- Minimum of five years' full-time experience in a clinical specialty, including experience as a Clinical Midwife or other leadership role in a complex hospital environment.
- Proven high-level competence in leading and managing clinical teams.
- High-level interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills with the ability to engage with internal stakeholders at various levels.
