About this position:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Unit Nurse Manager to oversee the delivery of high-quality nursing and mental health care to our residents.
As a Unit Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and monitoring the provision of nursing services to ensure the highest standards of care are met.
You will assess the needs of your residents and develop person-centred care plans that meet their unique requirements.
In this role, you will also be responsible for leading and developing a team of staff, including recruiting, training, and mentoring new recruits.
You will build strong relationships with local regulators and social services to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
About you:
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a Registered Nurse (RMN) with current NMC registration.
You will have experience in providing care for older people and those with dementia, as well as a proven track record of delivering high-quality care plans and detailed risk assessments.
You will require up-to-date knowledge of recent clinical practices and an understanding of regulatory frameworks, including DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines.
You will be a natural leader who has acted as a clinical mentor, supporting newly qualified nurses through their preceptorship.
