We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Coordinator to provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive patient experience.
This role involves greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, completing new patient registration and data entry, discussing insurance benefits and payment responsibilities, and collecting patient balances.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients warmly and welcomingly.
- Answer phone calls professionally and in a timely manner.
- Schedule patient appointments efficiently and organized.
- Complete new patient registration and data entry accurately and efficiently.
- Discuss insurance benefits, authorization requirements, and payment responsibilities with patients.
- Collect patient balances (copay/deductible/coinsurance) accurately and professionally.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Previous experience in customer service or administrative roles, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Multitasking and prioritization abilities.
- Proficient in computer skills and ability to learn new software systems.
