Strategic Hospitality Sales Director for Gold Coast Region

The Star Entertainment Group is seeking an experienced Group Sales Manager to join our team in the Gold Coast region. This role will play a crucial part in driving profitable revenue across hotels and events business.
About The RoleIn this key position, you will be responsible for providing support to the Head of Commercial Hospitality to sell the Events, Hotel, and Hospitality business across all segments. Your primary goal will be to maximise occupancy and yield opportunities generated from the hospitality business across the Gold Coast property location.
As a strategic leader, you will develop a pipeline of sales for hotel/business events, provide leadership with a focus on Business Events/Hotel sales to increase revenue based on reaching and exceeding budgeted targets. You will also ensure time spent balances with ROI, focusing on the highest potential clients.
About YouWe are looking for an experienced professional with extensive experience within the business events/hotels sector, including established relationships with Professional Conference Organisers, corporate, association, government, incentive, industry decision makers.
You will have the ability to provide direction and support to Group Sales Executive and Co-ordinators for an integrated system of employee relations and performances, while ensuring organisational objectives are prevalent in any new initiatives. Additionally, you must be able to maintain a customer focus, ensuring that customer service delivery is timely, effective, and efficient and that it meets both the customer's (internal and external) needs and corporate standards.
What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
