About the Role
Cerebral Palsy Alliance is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Practitioner to join our team in Lambton, NSW. As a Disability Support Practitioner, you will play a vital role in delivering personalized support to individuals with disabilities, promoting their independence, and enhancing their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality support services to clients in a group home setting, including assistance with daily living activities, personal care, and medication administration.
- Support clients to make informed choices and develop skills to increase their independence.
- Encourage clients to participate in their community and engage in activities that promote socialization and personal growth.
- Build positive relationships with clients, their families, and other stakeholders.
- Transport clients, if required, using Cerebral Palsy Alliance's minivan.
Requirements
- Live locally to the Lambton area.
- Prior experience in disability support or a related field is highly regarded.
- Hold a current NSW Driver's License (P2 minimum).

Training and Development

- We invest $5,000 in training in your first year.
