As a key member of our HSE team, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of our group HSE management system, ensuring compliance with relevant legislative requirements and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and maintain the Group HSE management system, ensuring compliance with relevant legislative requirements and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular internal audits to assess the effectiveness of HSE processes and procedures, identifying areas for improvement.
- Review and continuously improve the HSE management system based on emerging trends, legislative changes, and industry standards.
- Lead and be responsible for the performance of a small team.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to promote a culture of safety and enhance HSE awareness across the organisation.
- Provide HSE guidance to employees, contractors, and visitors, promoting a proactive approach to HSE matters.
- Stay updated on relevant HSE regulations, emerging industry trends, and technological advancements, applying this knowledge to improve the HSE management system.
- Maintain certifications to ISO 45001 OHS Management Systems and 14001 Environmental Management Systems, including preparation of audit evidence and coordinating audit.

- Lead Auditor qualification and experience in audits.
- Training or experience in Human and Organisational Performance Standards (HOPS) in relation to Safety Management.
- Demonstrated experience transforming management systems to improve efficiency.
