As part of the project team, this role will be working with the Project Manager to perform a range of activities including:
- Establishing technical writing principles and framework for Business Management System content.
- Documenting lifecycle processes and minimum document type requirements.
- Optimising current business management system documents.
This role involves developing and maintaining close working relationships with Business Management System Subject Matter Experts and content owners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establishing document type hierarchical structure and minimum document requirements.
- Developing and maintaining technical writing principles and framework for Business Management System content.
- Documenting lifecycle processes for developing, reviewing, publishing and abolishing documents.
- Working closely with BMS Subject Matter Experts (SME's) and content owners to develop and review professionally published documents by:
- Applying established principles.
- Summarising technical content into easy-to-read and comprehendible language and format with a focus on content end users.
- Utilising language that is aligned to legislation (where applicable).
- Utilising established style guides and templates.
- Ensuring content is assessable and complies with departmental writing guides.
Desired Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in communication.
- Technical writing experience.
