About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Tender Writer to join our team in Brisbane. This is a permanent role where you will work Monday to Friday based in our Milton Office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate submissions to a high standard, meeting client deadlines
  • Write and layout compelling and customized tender documents to successfully secure major maintenance contracts and projects
  • Collaborate with operations/project managers, engineers, and subject matter experts to capture technical information and present it in a clear and visually interesting manner
  • Develop marketing collateral such as capability statements and project profiles to support business development and tendering
  • Ensure all content adheres to branding guidelines and maintains a high standard of quality
  • Participate in and facilitate meetings
  • Assist with developing strategies to improve the company's win ratio
  • Update/maintain our Sharepoint library and tendering systems
Requirements
  • Two or more years' experience working in a communications/tender writing role
  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field is desirable but not essential
  • Advanced skills in use of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. Intermediate Adobe InDesign (preferred)
  • Excellent written communication capabilities, with high attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Flexibility to adapt to a fluctuating workload and to support other team members when required
  • A strong team mentality and ability to maintain focus when under pressure. Willingness to work with as well as the ability to work autonomously
