
Healthcare Compliance Specialist

A dedicated Compliance Officer is required to lead our Health Care Compliance / Health Care Business Integrity program in Australia & New Zealand.
The Compliance Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive compliance strategy, driving operational excellence, and improving the compliance framework and program for applicable sectors.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and leading the strategy for the HCC/HCBI program, aligned with business activities and risks.
- Supporting and advising senior leaders on compliance programs, including navigating complex healthcare issues and supporting business growth.
- Ensuring adherence to laws and regulations, continually enhancing compliance measures.
- Leading governance activities, including the HCC Committee, to keep leaders updated on compliance requirements and risks.
- Acting as a trusted advisor for business activities involving healthcare risks, designing controls to mitigate those risks.
- Responding to misconduct reports, overseeing investigations, and developing remediation action plans.
- Mentoring local and regional compliance teams, fostering high performance.
- Collaborating with legal, regulatory, and industry partners to influence policies and improve compliance practices.
- Driving training, awareness, and talent development efforts to maintain a strong compliance culture.
Requirements include:
- Bachelor's degree, with 8+ years of relevant experience.
- At least 5 years in healthcare, with knowledge of healthcare programs and compliance policies.
- Demonstrated ability to influence business decisions and communicate complex information effectively.
- Experience working with regulators and managing compliance programs preferred.
- Strong leadership, accountability, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness to travel 15-20%.
