The Department of Rehabilitation at Peninsula Health offers a comprehensive range of services and care to patients with diverse needs. Our facilities include 60 beds at the Golf Links Road site and 15 beds at Rosebud Hospital.

We offer Rehabilitation Registrar training positions accredited with the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine (AFRM) at our health service. These positions are based out of Golf Links Road (Neurological, Orthopaedic, General/ Amputee) and Rosebud Hospital.

As part of our comprehensive training program, registrars participate in protected training time, including attending local and national conferences, workshops, journal clubs, grand rounds, clinical meetings, and training sessions. They also have opportunities to teach medical students, perform audits, and undertake research.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • MBBS degree (or equivalent)
  • Eligibility for registration with AHPRA as a medical practitioner
  • A minimum of 2 years postgraduate training
  • Membership or eligibility to join the AFRM training program
  • Sound clinical knowledge, skills, and experience in contemporary medical and evidence-based practice
  • Ability to work effectively as an inter-disciplinary team member
