Job Title: Senior Operations Assistant

The role of the Senior Operations Assistant is to provide high-level administrative support, expertise, and/or technical knowledge across a range of activities including system management, workload optimisation, staff performance, financial analysis, staff lifecycle, knowledge and change management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading and/or managing staff responsible for providing administrative support, expertise and/or technical knowledge.
  • Providing accurate and specialised advice, ensuring knowledge of and compliance with relevant legislation and policy frameworks.
  • Assessing and maintaining quality processes and documentation relating to service delivery, ensuring alignment to legislation and policy.
  • Coordinating and analysing data and written information for the purposes of drafting communications and/or high level internal and external communications.
  • Collecting and auditing workforce planning and capacity data, reporting on staff lifecycle and confirming against financial, systems and people performance data.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in Disability, Health or Aged Care sector.
  • Proven experience as a team leader or manager.
  • Ability to multitask, manage completing deadlines and prioritise tasks accordingly.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Work & Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and an advanced proficiency with time management.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
