About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and safety-focused Operations Controller to join our dedicated Bulk Chemical team at McColl's Transport. This is an ideal role for those looking to commence their career in Transport and Logistics.
As an Operations Controller, you will be responsible for:
- Coordinating and scheduling fleet and staff movements, including monitoring hours and delays;
- Allocating and coordinating customer bookings and deliveries in a timely and efficient manner;
- Building relationships with our current customer base and ensuring a high level of service;
- Participating in an out-of-hours on-call rotating roster;
- Monitoring and managing fatigue compliance;
- Assisting with payroll-related activities;
- Accurately managing up-to-date driver paperwork in accordance with legislative and business requirements.

Requirements
- Experience within a similar role, ideally within transport and logistics;
- Willingness to collaborate within a motivated team;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- A high level of computer literacy and attention to detail;
- Previous experience or understanding of COR, NHVAS, BFM, and Mass Management compliance accreditation systems and regulatory requirements;
- The ability to do some short-term travel, if required.
