Job Title: Evaluation and Strategic Planning Lead

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a key member in the development and implementation of evaluation frameworks and plans. You will be working closely with program teams to ensure responsive and timely reporting to support program improvements.

As an experienced leader, you will have a proven track record of managing teams, developing positive work environments, and meeting project milestones. Your expertise in qualitative and quantitative methodologies will enable you to design, implement, and facilitate research/evaluation frameworks, methodologies, and analysis in a fast-paced environment.

You will also have experience fostering strong client relationships and supporting decision-making approaches. If you are passionate about designing, delivering, and communicating evaluations, then this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing evaluation frameworks, including logic models, evaluation questions, and methodologies.
  • Implementing evaluation frameworks and plans for the Implementation and Impact Unit.
  • Conducting qualitative and quantitative fieldwork, including focus groups and interviews with stakeholders.
  • Managing a small team who work flexibly and across various locations.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline and/or equivalent knowledge, skills, and experience.
  • Hold a valid clearance to work with Children (Working with Children Check) for paid employment.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
  • Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG.
