Technical Project Manager Role

This role involves providing leadership and expertise to drive the delivery of complex infrastructure projects. The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing technical aspects, managing project specifications, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead and mentor teams. They will also need to possess commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills to navigate complex project environments.

As a key member of the project team, the Technical Project Manager will play a crucial role in shaping project outcomes and ensuring that they meet their objectives. They will work closely with construction, procurement, and design teams to deliver high-quality results.

The position requires a degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline, along with 6-10+ years of experience in infrastructure or energy project delivery. Strong knowledge of transmission lines, substations, and rotating plant is essential, as is proven ability to manage construction contracts and technical complexity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide engineering leadership and expertise to drive project delivery
  • Oversee technical aspects of projects, including RFIs, specifications, and IFC designs
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met
  • Lead and mentor project teams to achieve project goals
Required Skills and Qualifications:
