Executive Support Role

This is a senior-level position that requires high-level strategic planning skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to develop understanding of Indigenous cultural protocols.

About the Opportunity

The role will provide support to the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Indigenous Leadership and Engagement) on critical and emerging issues, new initiatives, and policy/regulatory matters.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing proactive executive support to the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Indigenous Leadership and Engagement)
  • Supervising and providing daily direction to the Executive Assistant to the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Indigenous Leadership and Engagement)
  • Providing strategic support and project management of projects and initiatives
  • Undertaking internal strategic reporting and external reporting
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A strong record of achievement in providing executive support and strategic project management
  • Tact, diplomacy, and interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong strategic planning skills and analytical thinking
