Clinical Nurse Specialist - CAMHS

Job Summary:

We are seeking highly skilled nurses to provide clinical services to young people and their families who are experiencing mental health concerns.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering person-centred care and working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

About the Role:
  • Undertaking complex case management, assessment, and individual therapies, including the development and implementation of specialized treatment programs.
  • Working alongside innovative team leaders and consultant psychiatrists to develop new youth mental health services in Tasmania.
  • Collaborating with an amazing and diverse group of clinicians as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, providing support and consultation to other team members as required.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing complex case management, assessment, and individual therapies to young people and their families.
  • Developing and implementing specialized treatment programs.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary team members to deliver high-quality care.
Requirements:
  • Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
  • Current Working with Children Registration.
  • A postgraduate qualification or working towards a postgraduate qualification relevant to the role.
