We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in enabling our next phase of growth.

Job Description

As an experienced Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships, and Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSFs). You will also prepare Business Activity Statements (BAS), Instalment Activity Statements (IAS), Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT), Capital Gains Tax (CGT), and Pay As You Go (PAYG) for various companies and trusts.

You will deliver annual workers compensation and payroll tax reconciliations, provide exceptional service to our clients, and participate in training seminars, team meetings, and social events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the team to complete client work in a timely manner.
  • Prepare financial reports and statements for clients.
  • Provide tax advice and assistance to clients.
  • Develop and implement effective accounting systems and processes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files.
Requirements
  • Chartered Accountant qualification or in progress.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or similar.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a Chartered Accounting Practice.
  • Experience using accounting software, including MYOB AE, HowNow, Active Ledger, APS, MYOB, Xero, and Quickbooks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
