A Chartered Accounting firm seeks an experienced Accountant to fill this position, overseeing client-related taxation matters and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leads and manages a small team of accounting professionals to ensure efficient tax administration processes.
  • Oversees statutory processes and stays up-to-date with legislative changes to maintain compliance.
  • Manages SMSF administration and provides expert advice to clients.
  • Liaises with clients to build strong relationships and deliver exceptional service.
  • Utilizes technology-based systems to streamline accounting and tax administration processes.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years' experience in Australian accounting firms as Tax Manager, Senior Tax Accountant, or practice owner.
  • CA or CPA qualification is highly desirable.
  • Degree qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Financial Management, or related field are essential.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and time-management skills are required.
  • Registered tax agent status or ability to obtain is necessary.
