About the Role

  • As a senior accountant, you will play a key part in our firm's growth strategy.

We are looking for a qualified and experienced accounting professional to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with partners and other team members to ensure client work is completed efficiently and effectively. You will also be responsible for providing tax planning and advisory services to clients, as well as assisting with staff training and development.

The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience in a chartered accounting practice, hold a Chartered Accountant qualification, and possess excellent communication and organisational skills. They will also have expertise in accounting software, including MYOB AE, HowNow, Active Ledger, APS, MYOB, Xero, and QuickBooks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with partners and team members to deliver high-quality client service.
  • Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients.
  • Assist with staff training and development.
  • Lead and review the preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships, and SMSFs.
  • Liaise with statutory authorities on behalf of clients.
