Job Description

Cardiovascular disease is a significant global health concern, with 18 million people dying from it every year. As a liaison to the medical or scientific community, you have the opportunity to make a real difference in more people's lives. Your role will be to establish and develop relationships with healthcare providers and professionals.

You will be responsible for educating and maintaining scientific dialogue with medical professionals and partners on products. This includes developing plans to optimize alignment of development activities, providing scientific information, and presenting up-to-date data on products to healthcare professionals.

Additionally, you will support investigational sites and work cross-functionally to recommend investigators for Phase I-IV clinical programs. You will also assist in setting up, implementing, and executing local clinical studies, preparing meeting results, and attending medical meetings.

Requirements
  • Relevant qualification such as PhD, PharmD, or medical qualification
  • Knowledge of clinical medicine, disease management, and medical research, preferably in cardio-metabolic
  • Demonstrated experience in establishing and maintaining positive relationships with healthcare professionals and decision makers
  • Ability to synthesize recent scientific information, analyze them within strategic and regulatory settings with strong personal integrity and customer focus
  • Outstanding interpersonal communication, negotiation, and advanced presentation skills, with ability to work successfully in a constantly evolving field-based environment
Responsibilities
  1. Develop relationships quickly and effectively with medical professionals and partners
  2. Educate and maintain scientific dialogue with medical professionals and partners on Novartis' products
  3. Build and implement plans to optimize alignment of development activities
  4. Provide scientific information and present up-to-date data on products to healthcare professionals
  5. Support investigational sites and work cross-functionally to support TMO and Medical Leads in recommending investigators for Phase I-IV clinical programs
  6. Work as a team to assist the Medical Lead in set-up, implementation, and execution of Novartis-sponsored local clinical studies
  7. Prepare meeting results, attend medical meetings, report customer feedback, and evaluate the impact of competitive information to share both internally and externally
