About Our Site Engineering Role

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our dynamic team on a high-profile rail facility project.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional with experience in buildings and structures. As a Site Engineer, you will oversee construction activities, ensure project milestones are met, and maintain high standards of safety and quality.

  • Coordinate and manage construction engineering activities to ensure timely, budget-friendly, and high-quality project delivery.
  • Effectively monitor and control construction performance and progress.
  • Prepare regular progress and compliance reports to stakeholders.
  • Interpret designs for construction implementation and suggest improvements to existing plans.
  • Supervise the technical aspects of the project, including verifying subcontractors' claims and variations.
  • Manage work programs and monitor the performance of teams and subcontractors to achieve project outcomes.
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant contractual obligations and legislation.
  • Demonstrate expertise in construction engineering practices and comply with Australian and international standards.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor of Engineering degree and at least 2 years of experience in the construction industry. They should also have strong project planning skills, business or project operations management experience, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
